“Operations and Transport Manager”
An integrated transportation and logistics company is looking for an Operations and Transport Manager;
Main duties:
- Coordinate daily fleet requirements internally with all relevant departments and with clients.
- Optimize fleet movements.
- Monitor and analyze all opportunities to cut fleet costs and improve efficiencies.
- Communicate with clients, including embassies, international organizations and international and local companies.
- Ensure all clients’ transportation needs are met.
- Ensure and implement a safety-first culture.
- Pursue new business opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 10 years of experience in logistics or relevant industry.
- Ability to develop strong, value-added partnerships.
- Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
- Ability to handle and prioritize when presented with a high volume of engagements.
- Excellent communication skills and a high bar of accuracy and detail.
- Proven track of records for managing multiple priorities.
- Must independently work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
